Getting closer!
This weekend will be spent hand sewing and doing corrections on my earlier gowns. It's painstaking work but it must be done!

Tender is the Night
Here's dress number four named Rosemary after the leading lady of "Tender is the Night". Rosemary Hoyt is continually associated with the movies not only because
she is an actress and is actually seen on the set, but also because her
vision is oddly cinematic.

Sunflowers and Haystacks
Becky, my boss, once told me my style was like sunflowers and haystacks. I loved this! Here's a picture of my new iPhone case- I think she was onto something.

Side Note: RAU mini-line
This is obviously not a part of my final collection.
As a group assignment in my "Fashion in International Markets" course, I was assigned into a group of 5 people. We were given a country and went on to research the demographics, psychographics, and the apparel industry of said country. We then had to design a product with 3 variations. As one of the two design students in the group, I decided upon an eco-friendly mini-line of business casual blazers. They are made of organic cottons, hemps, wool, and recycled lambskin leather contrast pieces.
I designed us a logo with the name "RAU" meaning "rugged" in German- I think dudes will like that.

Gloria
Here's a photo of nearly finished Gloria. So many issues with this one... I had to redo the whole darn thing. Thankfully, I had Jamie helping me burn the edges of the organza petals and applying glue to the stain petals to prevent them from fraying.
